Bidfta has gone way downhill, to the point of extremely predatory practices.idk how many in this community utilize the auction site bidfta to find deals on online returns, but i'm sure whoever does has noticed a serious degradation of user experience. I ordered replacement parts from hunter (they sent them for free) My bidding guidelines i've bought a lot of stuff from bidfta

I think i did get some good deals, but i've also received my share of stuff that doesn't work or was damaged It was missing a few pieces, but otherwise looked good Here are a few of my guidelines/strategies

Open box means it was returned, might be dirty, could be missing parts

For me, my max bid is 15% of the retail price of the item. Like bidfta, they have pickup locations in both cincy and cbus, though it's seems like they have much more stuff in cincy But, can't filter by pickup location, which is annoying. What are some good and legit auction sites out there, i say not the best because you guys would never tell me, like is govplanet any good

I had very bad experience with bidfta They cheat, they deceive, they will lie and if they get caught they will hide behind their policies I don’t know why would any reasonable person with half a brain do business with them after reading their policies Which is designed to protect them from getting sued.

Also, learn to quickly scan for the right color tag, and the item number (last 4 digits.) find similar number tags and start looking near there, working outwards or on adjacent aisles near the location

(takes breath.) finally, ask questions as the staff trying to be helpful within the chaos that is bidfta. Done with bidfta so, for the third time in my last three purchases, i went to pick up and found that the item wasn’t at all as described or as pictured Last 2 were “as new” so after digging out my item and waiting in line, i got a refund, but this was open box. Bidfta users often face card suspension due to account holds and payment verification failures

Card suspension on bidfta typically occurs when the account is flagged for suspicious activity or unpaid bids To resolve, contact bidfta support to verify your account status and confirm funds availability. I bid on something and won but now i don’t want it What happens if i haven’t paid for it and don’t pick it up ?

I find bidfta to be frustrating

There are times when i get some great deals and everything (mostly) works Recently, i went against my guidelines and won a rather expensive hunter ceiling fan
